Annually, Magpie Studio creates a mail-out to celebrate the turn of the New Year. Playing on the connotations of bad luck that the number 13 brings, 2013’s mailer was reassurance that the year would be a good one. Screenprinting on wood provided peace of mind for our more superstitious recipients.

The Den is a small lounge / bar within St Martins Lane hotel. They commissioned us to produce a series of artworks. Working with a theme of Britishness eccentricity, we physically effected the frames, creating the illusion that the art had come to life.
The Mind and Movement project was aimed at engaging students with the teaching methods of world-renowned choreographer, Wayne McGregor. The typographic solution allowed the type to be deconstructed into its constituent parts, and rearranged into infinitely variable sets of patterns, forming a perfect metaphor for McGregor’s work.
The British Heart Foundation produce an educational pack which helps parents and teachers encourage children (aged 0-5) to eat more healthily. A series of bite sized ‘story scenarios’ were created, with ‘Chompy’ - a monster chef who travels the world, exploring new foods; intended to empower teachers and parents.
